The attempts by some here to attack the personality of the individual rather than focus on the facts is reflective of “internet troll” behavior.

The trolls can go back to their underground cave. The rest of us are going to keep focusing on the facts.

I’ve actually known more people in uniform in many ways. I’ve worked with law enforcement, myself. And I don’t just mean local. I don’t recall arguing that the Sherrif’s shouldn’t receive an increase. It is dishonest for you to say that, but it helps your case, doesn’t it? Besides, why are you throwing the whole organization out in front to take the bullet for the GM of the union?

You had no problem with Strongsidejedi hijacking the other boards. You said nothing. You even threw in your tangents and innuendo. You had no issue with loss of focus when you threw out all that chaff to cloud the issues and change the subject.

I haven’t made any comment about the Sherrif’s department. The few OC Sherrif’’s I’ve known are upstanding individuals and I’m sympathetic to what they went through with Corona. Again, aren’t we talking about the GM of the union?

Alan does no service for the boys and the disaffected volunteers in Scouting at the unit level. He only sticks up for the upper management.

I like the honor by association bit—Sheriffs and Scouts. The appeal to pity is wonderful. But, those Sheriff’s are pretty big and have guns. I’m sure they aren’t easily picked on.
